The Secret Gospels and Gnostic Christianity

 Many myths, legends and holy texts of all ages have taught us that we are asleep – we are “living dead”. And hence we hear the urgent reproach: "Awaken, you who are sleeping!" They speak of spiritual Awakening. Gnostic Christians believe that through an inner process of purification the Christ Radiation, the Light or the Love of Christ, comes into the world to help liberate humanity from matter. Christ's impersonal Love Radiations are so powerfully available in the world today that all humans have the possibility to walk that path of awakening.
