The Golden Thread Of The Gnosis

In order to find the golden thread through the world religions, we need not specifically occupy ourselves with comparative religious studies. We hope that we will together discover that the beginning of that golden thread is lying in all of us and hence that all of us possess the possibilities to recognize the truth concerning all world religions.

`There is a divine power that from hour to hour and from second to second

seeks to descend into us, to dwell among us,

in order to attune the earth and its inhabitants to the harmony of the spheres and

to raise and propel them to the fulfilment of their destiny as children of the Father.

This divine power is not able to accomplish these things without your knowledge.

It has to flow through you and make you wake up

as consciously co-operating participants in the unfolding of the All-Creation.

That is why someone once said:

"God's creation lies sunken in man. We are parts of His creation,

little cogs in the great wheel of the realisation of the All.

That is why His unfolding, the crowning of His creation,

depends on the conscious co-operation, the conscious devotion

of human heads, human hearts and human hands."

From the very beginning, in unfathomable love, this divine being,

the strongest force of the universe and that carries all of creation,

has intended to raise us up as co-workers in the execution of His plan.

However, a co-worker can only serve his purpose,

can only carry out his part of the work in the right way,

if he freely reciprocates the love he has been given

and has an intelligent understanding of the plan.

That is why, from the dawn of time, God has worked

to make His will and His wisdom find entrance into us

as the result of a voluntary, personal decision.'
