The Spiritual Treasure of The Cathars

Friday 1st May 2015

Time: 20:00 - 22:00

“Countless multitudes have been taught from childhood on to seek the kingdom of God, the realm of Christ, outside themselves. In consequence, all the values, all the abilities present in them for the purpose of establishing this kingdom, flow away. In this way, as if in a warped mirror-image, they project outside themselves what should be established within them. This image has no reality, no life but is the product of delusion."

There exists a universal secret! A well-kept secret that lives in all peoples, nations and cultures. It lies hidden in symbolic stories and in mystery tales. It has a universal value, that we with our limited consciousness cannot comprehend with our intelligence alone, for it lies hidden in the heart of man, and in the world.

The Cathars knew this secret, this path, this process and applied it in their school of initiation, their community of souls devoted to the inner Christ. They turned towards this spiritual world. Catharism evolved in the southern parts of France out of an impulse from the other, the spiritual world. It called man's attention to the true Christianity: Everyone can follow Christ, by liberating, the divine nucleus in his own being.

Every person possesses the rudiment of a soul which can come into contact with the spiritual world. And there is the enabling Light-Force of the Christ who has opened and freed this path, and every human being himself. The religion of the Cathars can be summarized in the words enduristic striving, or the application of the "endura".

In this lecture we hope to uncover for you something of the secret of the inner spiritual world. We deem it an immeasurable joy, that the victory of the Light over the lower, external world - over the darkness - is possible.
