Welcome to the Ireland website of the Lectorium Rosicrucianum: The International School of the Golden Rosycross. The scope of this website is to disseminate information and literature for those seeking to know more about the Rosicrucians and their spiritual path.

The Lectorium Rosicrucianum is a gnostic spiritual school whose aim is to teach the original Christian initiation path of transfiguration. These teachings are based on a practical spiritual path that is followed in order to awaken the divine spark within man, the divine nucleus that the Rosicrucians refer to as the “Rose of the heart”.

GOAL OF THE LECTORIUM ROSICRUCIANIUM

The Lectorium Rosicrucianum is a gnostic spiritual school. The aim of this school is to achieve the original Christian initiation path of transfiguration. The pupils of the LRC are those who have a yearning for a spiritual renewal of life.

THE PILLARS OF ROSICRUCIAN PHILOSOPHY

Man is two-fold: In his present form, he is mortal and at the same time immortal with respect to the spirit-spark in his deepest, inner core. Through transfiguration, an immortal being arises out of this spark of Light and manifests itself in the world of eternal life.

WHAT IS GNOSIS?

Religious secret knowledge, search for divine knowledge – these are some of the thoughts that are associated with the word Gnosis. But what does it mean to experience gnosis inside oneself? To find out, you have to turn to the source from which Gnosis rises.
