The Awakening of the Heart

 Where does consciousness come from?  

This question has perplexed the greatest thinkers since the dawn of time. Modern psychology has ascertained that as we grow up, our consciousness develops through experiences and by interacting with our environment. We learn to discern and separate ourselves from others; our consciousness becomes one of isolation.  

At the core of human consciousness lies a fundamental misconception, crafted from experiences in a world of delusion and suffering, that we're separated and no more than mortal beings. But, at the deepest level of our consciousness lies the knowledge of our true, divine descent. We have simply forgotten who we really are.  

The aim of mystery schools is to aid in the process of re-directing human consciousness away from the nature of death and back to the divine field of existence.
