Karma, Reincarnation And The Universal Teachings Of The Rosycross (1)

It is not so long ago that in the West reincarnation, or the law of rebirth, was an unknown concept. Today, however, many accept it as fact in one form or another, seeing it as a teaching of purely eastern origin. And indeed we can find it in the East: in Hindu teachings like the Bhagavad Gita, in Buddhist teachings, as well as in Taoist teachings in China. However, we also find it with the peoples of Africa, Australia, the native Indians of the Americas and the ancient Europeans.

In other words, this teaching can be found all over the world and goes back to the dawn of time.

Among all the millions of people on earth, no two have the same fate. If only one life were to be decisive for reaching eternity - as is taught by the western religions -, then everyone should be born under exactly the same circumstances and start their lives under the same conditions. Because otherwise, we would have to assume the existence of an unjust God acting arbitrarily and incomprehensibly. And how then could there be divine love and justice?

But if one is convinced of the existence of a loving, just God, then one cannot but conclude, in view of people’s so different fate, that the possibility of a former existence seems logical and inevitable.

When the modern Spiritual School of the Golden Rosycross speaks about karma and reincarnation it, first of all, explains that the human being consists of more than flesh, blood, organs and bones.

That the human being is a microcosm, a small world.
