From The Essenes to The Rosycross

The Gnosis does not lead us on a path of development and power, but on one of insight, leading to liberation. That is why it teaches that the true, divine spirit is held captive in the sense-world and that it is essential for it to rise up out of this prison, out of the imprisoned soul-man, in order that the original spirit-man may be united with the primary source of all things, by means of insight, professing and striving.

In the School of the Rosycross, you are placed before Universal Insight. The vibrating, living reality of the Universal Brotherhood surges around you in order to make your entire being is aglow with it and it becomes “your sitting down and your rising up”.

However, this path of which we have spoken is only revealed to those who have shown they long for it, and give proof of this by inner discipline, sacrifice, courage, perseverance, simplicity and the deep desire to help humanity in the firestorm that is now upon us.

The human being - that is the external one - can change with time: we can be tempted to follow yet another slogan, be carried away by an even more subtle impersonation and pretence. Yet the inner being does not change - it only obeys the unchangeable, invariable law that stems from the Divine.
