The story of a Fall of mankind from Paradise is one encountered in various cultures around the world. It tells of divinely created human beings who chose to separate from their Creator and leave Paradise. This Fall lead to a life on the material plane where death and pain have taken place of their formerly divine nature. 

The story is present in so many mythologies around the world that one cannot help but think that there is some truth to it. The Fall of mankind is one of the central themes in the Rosicrucian tradition, as is the concept of a possible return to the divine field of life through a path of spiritual transfiguration. 

In this lecture, we will discuss in detail the gnostic significance of the Fall of mankind from Paradise, its consequences for the human race and the spirit-spark within us which yearns to return from whence it originated.
